Frequently Asked Questions

General FAQs

Since our expertise is in all things WordPress, if you’re on another platform, we’ll move your site to WordPress for a reasonable fee. This allows for endless customization options and Google prioritizes WordPress over many other platforms in their search engine rankings.

All plans offer our maintenance package, which includes regular software updates with visual checks to ensure no updates changed anything, daily off-site backups, 24/7 security monitoring with automatic malware cleanup, and optional monthly reports.

The main difference in the three tiers of support are :

Turnaround time (3-5 days on our VIP plan for $100/month to a few hours on our White Glove plan for $500/month)

Types of tasks covered: (Content edits or small tasks under 30 minutes in the WordPress dashboard on our VIP and Red Carpet plans or complex tasks, new pages and technical tasks related to WordPress but outside the WordPress dashboard on our White Glove plan)

On-demand support: Our Red Carpet team works 24/7/365, but are only available by email. Our White Glove team includes 24/7/365 live chat access for small tasks or urgent issues.

The Mark It Done Happiness Engineers are here to help. We take care of your site as if it were our own. We always communicate with a friendly and helpful tone, with the intention of making things simple and not overly technical.

We are results-driven and proactive with each client and believe in transparent and straight-forward communication. If you have specific requests on communication, please let us know in the onboarding process.

VIP plan: Monday – Friday, 8a-5p ET with a 3-5 day turnaround time

Red Carpet plan: 24/7/365, with an average turnaround time of 8 hours, almost always under 24 hours

White Glove plan: 24/7/365, with an average turnaround time of under a few hours, or live chat support for urgent issues.

Yes, we offer monthly maintenance reports for your site. These reports highlight all the maintenance work that’s been going on behind the scenes and give a general health report of the site. If you’d like to receive these monthly reports, just let us know! You can also view our activity from your WordPress dashboard at any time.

Our White Glove plan includes emergency support via live chat.

Our VIP and Red Carpet plans do not include emergency support. On those plans, we cannot guarantee immediate resolution of any issue, as they’re intended for content updates and tasks taking under 30 minutes inside the WordPress admin panel.

Sometimes emergency situations are caused by hosting servers, DNS issues, or other things that aren’t included in the scope of this service.

If your request is outside the scope of service, we’ll provide an affordable quote to resolve it with a fast turnaround.

Only our White Glove plan covers staging sites. The VIP and Red Carpet plans must be a live site with a real domain, not a dev or staging domain.

We can perform host migrations for a one-time cost of $99. That said, many hosts have tools that will allow you to do this very quickly and easily with no additional cost and some even offer free migrations. We would recommend contacting the host you’re looking to switch to and your existing host to see what options are available.

If your site is on a platform other than WordPress, we’ll need to move it to WordPress for a reasonable fee before we can begin work. WordPress gives you unlimited customization options and is favored by Google in their search engine ranking algorithm. We believe the small investment to switch platforms is worth the benefits received in return.

You can cancel your plan from your Mark It Done account page or email billing@markitdone.com. We don’t prorate cancellations or offer refunds, so you’ll be able to continue using your plan for the full month you’ve already paid for.

Mark It Done provides maintenance, support, SEO, and speed optimization for WordPress multisite on a case by case basis.

Here’s how it works and the transparency behind how it is different:

The main domain requires a maintenance plan to have updates, backups, and security performed. The updates performed on the main domain impact any/all sites in the network, so there is a chance that a plugin update could cause issues on a subsite that we would not be able to detect.

For this reason, we generally don’t recommend our service for multisite.

If you’re comfortable with us applying updates on the subsites but not having the visual check, you would need a maintenance plan subscription for the main site, and then reach out and we’ll come up with a plan that works for your budget and technical setup.

Nope! Feel free to use our service for one month or to depend on us for a long-term partnership in your success!

Support Plans

  • A comprehensive look during onboarding at where you are & what you need to get where you want to be so we can support you how you need it
  • VIP and Red Carpet plans: Unlimited WordPress content edits and tasks under 30 minutes inside the WordPress dashboard
  • White Glove plan: Unlimited WordPress related tasks (even if outside the WordPress dashboard), including complex tasks and new page builds, with live chat available for emergencies.
  • Regular plugin updates
  • Visual site check after updates
  • Daily security scans
  • Malware cleanup
  • Daily off-site backups
  • Maintenance dashboard to see all our activity

Here are some requests that our support plans do not include:

  • Graphic design changes (Things like creating graphics or editing images beyond simple resizing/cropping)
  • SEO and Analytics strategy, review, or consulting (offered as a separate service)
  • Writing or providing copy for posts, pages, products, etc. (Including Cookie Permissions and Privacy Policies, though we offer that separately)
  • Build-outs and plugin/theme development, including the build-out of new major functionality on an existing site (i.e. setting up an online store, rebuilding existing content through a different page builder, or custom-coding a new plugin to provide new functionality; this is covered through our dedicated developer service)
  • Host-related optimization
  • Interacting with third-party vendors, including the host, email provider, a plugin/theme’s support team, etc.
  • Purchasing plugins, license keys, or extensions

Just remember, it never hurts to ask. No matter the request, we’ll help point you in the right direction!

On the White Glove plan, that’s no problem. It may just take a little longer to get them done. You’ll be able to track progress in your client portal.

On the VIP and Red Carpet plans, many larger tasks can be broken down into smaller tasks that fit what’s covered under the plan.

Whenever we receive a request, the happiness engineers evaluate it to make sure it fits within our scope of service.

If we think a task will take more than 30 minutes, we’ll offer other options. These may include a quote for out-of-scope services, referral to another provider for this task, or a temporary upgrade to our White Glove support plan that covers a broader range of tasks.

First, we care and we know what it’s like to have technical needs without a large budget to handle them, so we’ve made it our mission to provide that.

Second, we’re very clear about the scope of our services and have thoughtfully designed our plans so you don’t have to pay for more than you need, but can always upgrade/downgrade to take care of temporarily increased needs. When we say unlimited requests, we mean it! You and your team can send in as many requests as you’d like that are within the scope of your plan.

Remember that the VIP and Red Carpet plans cover anything that takes 30 minutes or less to resolve and can generally be handled within the admin panel of your WordPress website, like updating content, installing plugins, design tweaks, small functional code additions. With the White Glove plan, there are almost no restrictions for tasks as long as they relate to WordPress and are not a complete site build. (You can use our dedicated developer service for that.)

We’re able to do this because we have a team of happiness engineers dedicated to doing only this — 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. We can resolve most tasks very quickly since we often see similar issues across hundreds of sites. And while some customers send more support requests than others, the average number of tasks per customer is very manageable.

Yes! You can exclude plugins from being updated in the Maintenance Dashboard. To do this, just navigate to the Updates tab of the Maintenance Dashboard and click the Settings button. You can then select which plugins to block or exclude from our automatic updates. This can be changed at any time.

Yes! You can keep your currently installed plugins. If there is a question regarding licensing of these plugins or any updates along the way, our team will reach out to you.

Yes, we offer monthly maintenance reports for your site. These reports highlight all the maintenance work that’s been going on behind the scenes and give a general health report of the site. If you’d like to receive these monthly reports, just let us know! You can also view our activity from your WordPress dashboard at any time.

Click Get Started, add your WordPress login credentials (we suggest creating a separate user for us rather than sharing yours), and add your payment method. We’ll get you set up the same day!

Once we receive this information, one of our Happiness Engineers will log into the site to install our plugins and get the site connected to our remote maintenance system.

We’ll also run a quick test of the off-site backup system and make sure the security scans are running. If there are any outstanding core or plugin updates, we’ll perform those as well.

We prioritize activating new sites, so this should be done within a few hours of you completing the process. Keep in mind, if your site is especially large or the connection to your server is exceptionally slow, it could take a bit longer.

Our team does not communicate with hosting providers. If there is an issue with the hosting provider, we will reach out to you and let you know if there is something needed from the host in order for us to be able to deliver our service. On our White Glove support plan, we may make an exception and work with your hosting if your site is down.

WordPress rolls out core updates in various stages and we assess what needs to be updated and when.

If it is a major update, we will wait 10-14 days until the WordPress development team has worked out all the bugs to help ensure it won’t have a negative impact on your websites.

We provide daily security scans and if malware is detected, it will be removed and we’ll let you know about it.

The WordPress core and plugin updates also protect your website by keeping your software on the latest version. Your website is constantly being monitored with WordPress security alerts and if there is a vulnerable plugin on your website, it will be updated as soon as the patch is available. MalCare automatically blocks malicious traffic with real-time protection.

Visual Validator uses visual regression to ensure plugin updates don’t cause visual problems on your site.

How it works:

  1. Visual Validator takes screenshots of up to 20 pages of your site.
  2. Updates are applied.
  3. Visual Validator takes new screenshots and compares them to see if anything looks different.
  4. If changes are detected, our happiness engineer are alerted and will resolve the issue.

Our update process lets you pick and choose which updates to run. So if needed, we can exclude problematic updates from the process. You also have to ability to choose specific pages for Visual Validator to check.

If an update fails and/or Visual Validator detects a visual discrepancy as a result of a plugin update, we’ll research why, and contact you to help fix it.

Visual Validator does not detect if a functionality is impacted by a plugin update. If you notice a functionality issue the has occurred as a result of a plugin update, let us know. We’ll research why and help to fix it.

Yes, we install our Maintenance Dashboard plugin on each site. The Maintenance Dashboard is visible in the site Admin Panel and gives complete visibility on the updates, backups and security scans we provide.

You can cancel your plan from your Mark It Done account page or email billing@markitdone.com. We don’t prorate cancellations or offer refunds, so you’ll be able to continue using your plan for the full month you’ve already paid for.

Speed Optimization

Yes. Our Happiness Engineers need to know that the sites they are working on are up to date and have reliable backups. Because of this, the speed optimization plan includes the maintenance plan, which you can learn more about here.

  • Site Cleanup
  • Image Optimization
  • Remove Unused Plugins and Themes
  • File Load Structuring
  • Database Cleanup
  • Disable XML-RPC
  • Caching Configuration
  • Minify CSS & JS
  • CDN Configuration
  • Gzip Compression
  • Monthly Performance Report
  • Additional 2 Hours Per Month For Other Website Edits & Bug Fixes

One of the largest factors in site speed is your web host and the server you’re on. Since these issues can get complex, we don’t make adjustments to your hosting or server configuration, other than adding a CDN. If after doing all the optimization work we can, your site still isn’t at an acceptable speed score, we’re happy to recommend a host better suited to your needs.

There is no magic bullet for increasing page load speed. It is skilled manual work along with the use of required plugins depending on the site. First, we audit each website manually to find the root cause of slowness. Our optimization strategy for your site is based on what we find during the audit; it’s not the same for every site.

There are some websites where the scope of improvement is very little. Examples: Site with more than 20 plugins installed, sites hosted on low capacity shared servers, sites using bulky custom queries that are essential for site operation, woocommerce stores that have gotten slower over time due to thousands of products and orders. These types of websites are hard to near impossible to gain significant improvements in speed, even after all the optimization work is done.

In such cases, we will offer our recommendations after the initial audit and give a full refund.

Our speed optimization pricing is average to competitively priced when comparing apples to apples. There are a couple services that are reasonably less, but they follow the same optimization plan for all sites and don’t do manual audits and adjustments.

Many speed optimization services charge a one-time fee. It’s possible to use our service for just one month, but your search engine ranking, user experience, hosting storage space ($$$) and many other things can benefit from ongoing optimization. We’re one of few services that offer this.

Also, since the work involved in optimizing may cause conflicts with your existing themes, plugins, custom code, or server environment, we’ve built in extra support hours to take care of those issues, or to take a load off your plate if those issues don’t come up! Most other plans don’t include this, and their pricing reflects that. What’s hard to see is that you’d be stuck paying another developer hourly to fix those things, which are pretty common. It’s worth the slightly extra spend to not have that headache, but we’re happy to recommend other options if we’re outside your budget.

No, each website requires its own plan.

1) Your site visitors assume the quality of your site reflects the excellence of your service or product, so you want to create a positive impression and easy user experience. Speed optimization does this in a number of ways, not just by making the site load faster.

2) The optimization work allows your staff and technical team to do their work faster and more efficiently, so you spend less on hourly rates, or free them up to accomplish more in the same amount of time.

3) Many items that are optimized by this service increase your search engine ranking.

Simply put, you’re more likely to grow and profit from users finding you in search engine results (or word of mouth) rather than from marketing ads. This is called “organic” (unpaid) site traffic.

Organic search generates 20 times more traffic than pay-per-click advertisements.

Google states that the return on investment for organic search is 5.3 times versus just 2 times from paid search.

Most users don’t look beyond the first page of search results, so it’s crucial to have your site optimized to rank high enough in the search results to appear on the first page.

  • Improved user experience

They will love browsing through your blazing-fast pages.

  • Better SEO

Google and other search engines push faster sites up the rankings.

  • Increased conversions

Stunning web performance improves conversions and revenue!

  • Reduced site abandonment

Studies show customers will leave a website if it takes longer than 3 seconds to load.

We can optimize your website to get a 90+ speed score in Google’s and other Page Speed tools. However, there are factors beyond our control which may make it not possible to achieve the desired score. These factors include theme (old theme, bulky premium theme, unsolvable root cause within theme ), hosting (shared hosting, slow host, not adequate space or bandwidth), page weight, network conditions and heavy customizations which could break the site upon optimization. In this case, we will do our best to get the best possible score and provide helpful recommendations.

Beyond the time we spend optimizing, we’ve included these extra development hours to resolve any incompatibilities that may arise during optimization. In most cases, you’ll still have plenty of time left over for tasks like:

  • Copy or content edits
  • Troubleshooting
  • Bug Resolution
  • Adding small features
  • Adding blog posts

This plan offers a fixed set of tasks that are in line with best practices for speed and WordPress site optimization. If you’d like help with additional tasks, consider our 24/7 support plan and we’d be glad to help!

If you choose to migrate your site to our hosting, we’ll offer to set up a CDN for you. Otherwise, we do not provide a CDN service outside of our hosting but we can help you configure it properly from your existing providers such as Cloudflare and Sucuri.

Yes, we do. The work required to optimize an ecommerce site is more extensive than normal speed optimization, so some other optimization providers either don’t handle or charge significantly extra for ecommerce sites.

Yes, we offer monthly performance reports for your site, as well as monthly maintenance reports. These reports highlight all the maintenance work that’s been going on behind the scenes and give a general health report of the site. You can also view our activity from your WordPress dashboard at any time.

Nope! Feel free to use our service for one month or to depend on us for a long-term partnership in your success!

That said, sites require regular optimization to stay healthy, fast and prevent more serious issues. If you can’t afford the plan monthly, consider using it quarterly or twice per year.

You can cancel your plan from your Mark It Done account page or email billing@markitdone.com. We don’t prorate cancellations or offer refunds, so you’ll be able to continue using your plan for the full month you’ve already paid for.

If you’re comfortable with us applying updates on the subsites but not having the visual check, you would need a Maintenance Plan subscription for the main site, and then a speed optimization plan for each subsite that requires ongoing optimization work.

Business Consulting

It’s all too easy to start out with big dreams for your business and then get lost and weighed down by all the details along the way without ever stopping to adjust your success plan. As serial entrepreneurs ourselves, and as a digital agency owner, we know that failing to plan is planning to fail.

We also know that there are many awesome tools out there that you likely don’t know about and could benefit from. If needed, your strategy session will include recommendations for the best tools to automate your mundane, repetitive or time-consuming tasks, as well as the best tools to set you apart from your competition in providing a unique personal touch with tasks that can’t or shouldn’t be automated.

We saw that almost all WordPress maintenance and site care plans focus strictly on accomplishing tasks and not on a supportive partnership in your success. So, we offer light business consulting in the form of strategy sessions that help you look objectively at where you’re at, where you want to be, and what you need to get there. These sessions are purchased one at a time and don’t require a monthly subscription.

Our goal is to help you think through why you do what you do and how to do it more efficiently and effectively. The aim is net outcomes of saving time and money, building sustainability for your business, and creating an enjoyable work/life balance.

  • An easy but comprehensive questionnaire that helps you and us assess your goals, needs, challenges, resources, and commitment to success
  • 1 hour meeting with a certified business and life empowerment coach and/or Mark It Done staff
  • Detailed action plan including recommendations for the best resources to get you where you want to be

The Mark It Done Happiness Engineers are here to help. We take care of your business and site as if it were our own. We always communicate with a friendly and helpful tone, with the intention of making things simple and not overly technical. We are results-driven and proactive with each client and believe in transparent and straight-forward communication.

Communication for strategy sessions includes:

  • A pre-session questionnaire
  • 1 hour meeting
  • Detailed action plan w/recommendations

Our action plan will include clear next steps, sometimes with options for different scenarios. We invest the time to include these options, when needed, so that you have everything you need to move forward without depending on us for follow up or clarification. If follow up is needed, we’re happy to discount another strategy session.

We assume that most business consulting clients will already be using our maintenance and 24/7 support plans, so communication will continue like normal there. If you’re not on one of our plans, subscribing for at least one month (or as long as it takes to complete your action plan) will support your progress.

In most cases, we’re available by the next business day and between the hours of 11am-6pm Eastern time.

  • A detailed recap of our meeting
  • Goal / Problem statement
  • Solution statement
  • Action items
  • Recommended resources
  • Where applicable, discounts

We ask about:

  • Your goals, needs, challenges
  • Why you do what you do
  • Where you want to be
  • What resources you have or need to get there
  • What sets you apart from your competitors
  • The goal or issue you want to focus on in this session
  • Your budget for this goal or solution

The strategy session will focus on one specific issue. We won’t discuss most of what’s on this questionnaire, but it’s helpful for us to have all this background info to make the best recommendations for you.

No. We ask about your budget for the goal / solution that we’re focusing on, but any other financial detail or goals you disclose will be at your discretion.

Please list them in the questionnaire. If they’re pretty interconnected, it might make sense to touch briefly and broadly on all of them rather than go deep in one area during our session.

If they’re not interconnected or if they deserve more than one session, we’ll either offer to extend the session or book multiple sessions. To respect your budget, we may also point you to another resource where you can find solutions for yourself for the simpler goals / issues.

We work hard with you to create a precisely define goal / problem statement and efficient, sustainable solutions. We also encourage you to set SMART goals (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, Tangible & Time-bound) so that it’s easy to recognize & celebrate success when you reach it, or to adjust your plan if your results aren’t what you expected.

While we don’t offer refunds for our time, we do go above & beyond to make sure your action plan anticipates obstacles and sets you up for success.

In most cases, you’ll either meet with Daphne Wertz, Founder of Mark It Done, and / or James Villepigue, certified business and life empowerment coach.

Security Repair

Please purchase the one-time Security Repair service here then complete the onboarding form with your website credentials and email support@markitdonewp.com with an explanation (and screenshots, if possible) of what’s going on. The support team will get the ball rolling on repair and someone will reach out to you with more detail within 8-12 hours, often much faster than that.

This service is a one-time fee for clean-up and preventative measures against future security issues. We’ll also recommend that you sign up for our Maintenance plan, which provides regular plugin updates to patch vulnerabilities, 24/7 security monitoring with non-urgent repair, and daily backups stored off-site in case of emergencies like this.

The Maintenance plan is designed to proactively limit security risks and provides 24/7 security scans with malware cleanup when needed. This Security Repair service provides urgent repair of security issues and uses extra tools not included in the maintenance plan to do deeper scans and add extra preventative measures.

We understand your concern! Unfortunately, we can’t guarantee, or even know in most cases, whether or which users were affected and how.

As part of this service, we’ll install an activity log that allows you to see what actions are taken on your site by who. We’ll also recommend our Privacy Compliance plan, which offers you some degree of legal protection against future risks.

If you’re really concerned about this, Layr is a great option for small business insurance.

Yes, we’ll provide a report that you’ll also be able to access from your WordPress dashboard confirming that your site is clean. We also check and remove, if necessary, your site from blacklists.

Our team is available 24/7/365, but only to our 24/7 support plan clients. If you’re already on that plan, you don’t need to purchase this service – simply send your request in.

Yes, we can handle security issues on staging or development sites.

Dedicated Developer

Our 24/7 support plan provides unlimited content edits and small tasks under 30 minutes in the WordPress dashboard. We have a specific scope of services, though it’s very generous. Your tasks are handled by a large team of developers.

The dedicated developer service provides you with the same developer to handle all your website needs, even if it’s outside the WordPress dashboard, like adjusting DNS records or hosting issues. Another benefit of this service is that the developer gets really familiar with your site(s), so they can proactively recommend options for you and they’re sometimes able to accomplish more in less time since they’re familiar with your site.

This is also our only service that can be used to build a new site or work on a staging site.

  • Our maintenance plan for plugin updates, security monitoring & repair, and daily off-site backups
  • 10, 20 or 40 hours/week of any website related tasks you need help with, even if it’s outside the WordPress dashboard
  • A rigorously pre-vetted skilled developer who works in your tools
  • Daily progress updates
  • Custom coding for styling/functionality, or plugin/theme development
  • Responsive design that looks and works great on all devices
  • A user-friendly page builder that makes it easy for you to edit your site if you want
  • Satisfaction guarantee, with the freedom to switch developers if needed

First, you’ll be offered an optional strategy session with a technical expert, project manager, or certified business coach from our team to assess your needs and help with an action plan. If you’re confident you know what you need, you can skip this to get started right away.

We have years of experience in hiring developers and we have a team of awesome, skilled people as a result. Once we match you with your dedicated developer, we’ll send you a guide to onboarding that developer to your team.

A successful onboarding experience means you and the developer have a mutual understanding of expectations, communication guidelines, and the developer feels empowered to succeed!

You’ll set the tone, times, and communication channel for your developer.

Our WordPress developers go through a rigorous process to make sure they meet the standard of quality Mark It Done is known for.

First, candidates complete an assessment that includes written and multiple-choice questions to assess their skills. These questions include development, custom coding, troubleshooting, third-party integrations, and much more. Our team reviews these responses and determines if the candidate advances to the next round.

The next round is a trial project. The candidate must convert a PSD file to a fully functioning and responsive website.

If the candidate is successful, they move onto the third and final phase, a video interview. This call is used to verify that the candidate is qualified and meets our standards.

Absolutely! If your needs change over time or you find that your developer isn’t the best fit, we’ll replace them quickly for you based on your feedback.

It varies, but most of our developers are available during U.S. business hours on weekdays. When you sign up, we’ll ask your preferred hours and assign a developer who’s available then.

Response times throughout the day are generally less than a few hours. If you need 24/7/365 support on top of your dedicated developer, consider our 24/7 support plan.

This is up to you!

The Mark It Done team will monitor time tracking on our side and we’re happy to manage that for you.

If you’d like to implement your own time tracking process on your side, no problem! Just make sure there is a process in place and that your developer knows what is expected of them.

Let us know your needs and we’ll assign a developer / designer who can take care of them. We have separate teams of developers and designers, but many are skilled in both areas.

There are no official reports with predetermined data, but your developer will check in daily with progress updates. You’re welcome to request any other type of reports (Google Analytics, custom Woocommerce reports, etc.) that you’d like.

The plan is designed to focus on one website, but if you have multiple sites and only need occasional help on the non-primary site, feel free to ask your developer.

Yes! This is our only plan that offers support for staging sites.

Yes! Your developer can handle migration, cloning, or setting up a new WordPress installation.

You can cancel your plan from your Mark It Done account page or email billing@markitdone.com. We don’t prorate cancellations or offer refunds, so you’ll be able to continue using your plan for the full month you’ve already paid for.

If you need support for multisite, be sure to mention that and we’ll get you set up with a developer who can handle your needs.

Nope! Feel free to use our service for one month or to depend on us for a long-term partnership in your success!

If you need to pause for a month, you’re free to do that. We’ll hold your developer for you for a small weekly retainer until you’re ready for them again.

Privacy Compliance

Mark It Done partners with Termageddon to provide multiple types of policies that keep your company compliant with the law and inform your site visitors of their rights. This not only protects you from legal risk, but it also shows your visitors that you handle your business and their needs with thoughtful care.

After you sign up, we’ll purchase your Termageddon license, handle the basic setup, and send you a link to customize the policies for your business with simple questions.

When we get that back, we’ll add the policies to your site and update your site map so Google recognize your legal compliance, which increases your search engine rankings.

Here’s what the setup involves:

There are global questions that apply to all policies and policy-specific questions. You can see all the questions here:

Global license questions

Terms of Service questions

Privacy Policy questions

Depending on how you answer the privacy policy questions, we may recommend a cookie policy for you. If you aren’t sure, please check with us.

We and you will be notified whenever there’s an update available. We’ll fill out as much as we can and let you know if anything else is required from you.

There are several notices you may see with your Termageddon license:

Update required

This section of the Dashboard page notifies users if they need to go into their policies to answer additional questions to create newly required disclosures under new or amended privacy laws. To resolve this issue, click into the license, click the purple ‘edit’ button and ensure all global questions are answered and then save. Next, under each policy, you will see an ‘update’ alert next to the area that you need to review.  This could be the questionnaire (‘edit policy details’) or the override feature or both.

Optional upgrades

This section of the Dashboard page is to provide users a notice that new questions and features are available within Termageddon. To review all optional upgrades and an explanation for each, please review this article.

Override policy

Overriding a policy allows you to change any of the text of the policies to your (and/or your attorney’s) liking.  If you override a section of any policy, we will no longer auto-update that section, but we will provide you with suggested new copy when applicable.

Incomplete policies mean that you have not fully answered the questionnaire. Termageddon’s questionnaire requires all fields to be answered in order to generate your policies.

We’ll take care of most of this for you, but if your policy says ‘incomplete’ on the view embed code page, please review the incomplete items listed on the view embed code page. The view embed code page will also list where you can find those questions within the policy questionnaire.  Once you get to that page of the questionnaire that has the missing answers, please answer those questions. If you are cannot find those questions or are unsure as to how to answer them, you can view the help videos on that page to learn more about the questions.

If you still have questions after watching the videos, please reach out to us at sites@markitdonewp.com.
